Hours: Monday–Friday, 9am–5pm (flexible)

From our light-filled workshop in Tawonga South, nestled beneath the Victorian Alps, we create each piece slowly and sustainably using recycled precious metals and traditional techniques. Our team is small, talented, and supportive.
As the business grows, we're excited to welcome new hands to our studio.
The Role
We're looking for a Bench Jeweller to join our workshop team. You'll be hands-on in the creation of our made-to-order pieces, playing a key role in the early stages of production, from wax injection to polishing the final piece.
This is a great opportunity for someone who's looking to learn bench skills and traditional techniques in a creative, independent studio environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Wax injection
- Cast clean-up and preparation for stone setting
- Polishing and finishing pieces to a high standard
- Working with precious metals: Sterling Silver, 9K and 18K gold
- Maintain a tidy, safe, and organised workbench
- Occasionally assist with other studio tasks as needed
Bonus Skills (Nice to Have)
- Experience with cast cleanup
- Stone setting (gypsy setting, bezel setting)
- Basic soldering skills
- Experience working with gold, platinum, and silver
- Previous work with precious metals or handmade processes
About You
- Ideally previous hands-on experience in a jewellery workshop or relevant training
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Comfortable working independently and managing your time, as well as working with a team
- Willingness to learn and be part of a small and supportive team
- Reliable, positive, and not afraid to get a bit dusty

Please note: This role involves extended periods of sitting and fine manual work at the bench. Applicants must be physically capable of performing repetitive tasks and maintaining focus during hands-on production hours, in line with the inherent requirements of the position. Reasonable adjustments can be discussed where required. This is an in-studio role based at our Tawonga South workshop.
